Usage
1. Sandblast or polish the surface of the specimen to be bonded, and clean the bonding surface with a solvent such as acetone or anhydrous ethanol.
2. Apply 610 adhesive evenly to the area of the specimen to be bonded. After slightly drying, use tweezers to pick up the strain gauge and accurately attach it to the bonding alignment line. Cover with a polytetrafluoroethylene film and extrude excess adhesive and air bubbles along the strain gauge axis.
3. Curing process: First curing: Apply a pressure of 2-3 KG/CM2 and maintain it constantly. Increase the temperature from room temperature to 135 ℃ at a rate of approximately 2 ℃ per minute, hold for 2 hours, and cool to room temperature with the oven. Second curing: After depressurization, increase the temperature to 165 ℃ at the same rate, hold for 2 hours, and then cool to room temperature.
4. H-610 adhesive is suitable for use in an environment with a relative humidity of less than 50% and a temperature of 20-25 degrees.
Preparation and Storage
Generally provided in two components, A and B, mixed at a ratio of A:B = 1:0.7. When preparing the adhesive, pour component A (thin) completely into component B (viscous) (incomplete pouring will cause imbalance in the ratio, affecting the bonding strength), stir or shake to fully mix the two components, and use after standing for 2 hours.
The mixed adhesive is stored at around 23 ℃ and has a storage period of 60 days. The adhesive is light yellow or yellowish-orange.
