Founder's Introduction

Chen Mang received his undergraduate degree in Solid Mechanics from the Department of Mechanics, Zhejiang University, and his postgraduate degree in Experimental Mechanics from the Department of Materials, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. After joining the Institute of Mechanical Science of the First Ministry of Machine Building in 1972, he focused on the research, application, and production of foil strain gauges and high-precision sensors. In 1994, he participated in the 45th anniversary celebration of the founding of the People's Republic of China in Beijing as a national model worker.
